Passed peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Tuesday 6th June 2023, aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late John. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Vicky and the late Ross, Gary and Debra, and Brendon and Lisa. Loved Nana and Gran to six grandchildren and their partners, and two great-grandchildren. SINCLAIR, Dilys Elizabeth

On Monday, June 5, 2023, released peacefully from a long illness, at Ngaio Marsh Retirement Village; in her 91st year. Wife of her cherished and loved Lindsay (dec). Dearly loved and loving mother of Karen (dec), Sharon, and David, and their partners. Cherished and adored Gran of Kirsty, Harrison, and Benjamin. Beloved and loved daughter of Tom and Gwen Rowlands (both dec), treasured sister and sister-in-law of Margaret and Jim Clark, Arthur and Helene Rowlands (both dec), and Rob and Cherie Rowlands. Dearest aunty and great-aunty Dilys of Alistair, Sarah, Rachel and their partners, Matthew, Nikesha, Alex and Rowan. Besotted cat mother to Pluto. GERAGHTY, Grace (nee Reid)

Of Paraparaumu Beach formerly of Taupo and Ohakune. On 28 May 2023, peacefully at Summerset on the Landing, Kenepuru, Porirua after a short illness. In her 89th year. Dearly loved wife of Frank (dec), treasured Mum of Steven and Ruth, Pete and Sue, Lee and Lawrence. Adored Nana of Lisa, Vivien, Fraser, Jonathan and Nicholas. Amazing Nana (great-grandmother) to Lucas, Josh, Toby, Dani and Gracie. Loved sister of Neil (Brisbane), Ev (dec), and Robin (dec). So very special to all her nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may also be left at the service. Grace has been cremated in accordance with her wishes. A memorial service to celebrate Grace’s life will be held at The Lions Den, 3 Arawa Street, Ohakune at 1.30pm on Saturday 8 July 2023 followed by interment of her ashes at Ohakune Cemetery. My (our) dear mother Donnese passed peacefully from this life, on Thursday, May 18, 2023 - interestingly "Ascension Day" catholic calendar. Several family members, including grandsons and granddaughters were with you Mum before you departed. So thankful! The outpouring of love from family, carers and nurses was astounding and reflects the respect and love they have for you Mum, and the days/nights you shared with them. Now you have set off on the Journey of your life - sailing with the Captain and Lover of your very soul ’n spirit (heart)! Travel well! Thank you Mum, wife, Nana, great-Nana, auntie, sister, daughter, colleague, carer of so many children (besides your own) for all you gave us; your love, dedication, beauty, time, energy, laughter and play, skills and talents, and even fears, pain, tears, and sheer damned hard work! You taught me dogged determination and helped me to appreciate; family, celebrations, icecream ’n jelly sponge, animals-ducks, trees, flowers, hairstyles ’n stylish clothing, dancing, singing, Catholic Mass (faith), education, our Scottish ancestry, tartan, bagpipes and so much more!!! Sometimes I didn’t understand you, nor you, me, still I love you and appreciate you, as my heart believes you loved us all deeply! You are missed and mourned by your husband of many years, Lindsay Charles Barron, your sons and daughters - the late Lindsay D.J. On 3 June 2023 suddenly but peacefully in Palmerston North Hospital. Dearly loved daughter of the late Lorna and Lex Thompson. Loved sister of John and the late Sheryle, and sister-in-law of Maureen. MOES, Jonathan Hendrik James(John Boy)

Born 5th December 1967, passed away peacefully in his home on 3rd June 2023. Beloved father of Kieran, Riley and Laike, loved son, and brother of Henrietta (Henri) and Caroline, and an outstanding friend to many. John Boy will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday 13th June at the Otaki RSA at 11.00am.

CLEMENT, Maria Denise

Of Levin. It is with incredibly sad hearts that we share with you this news. Our family lost our beautiful Mum/Nana/Partner/Sister and friend. Her passing was very sudden due to an unexpected medical event at home on 4th June 2023, aged 63 years. Dearly loved by Rowan, Colin, Sarah & Lane, Jay & Kim, Ryan & Kristen, Leon & Zoe. The most amazing Nana to Ambrose, Brock, Jordi, Nirvana, Maddie, Adelyn, Aubyn, Levi, Landen, Lacey, and another beautiful grandchild on her way. An outdoor garden service will be held at Makahika Outdoor Pursuits Centre, 865 Gladstone Road, Levin, on Tuesday 13th June at 11.00am to farewell and celebrate her. Parking is located before the venue and will be well signposted, where a coach will ferry you to the venue from 10.00am onwards. Please consider carpooling.

Allan passed away in Southland Hospital, true to form Allan fought to the end. Loved husband of Marilyn, loved father and father-in-law to Steven and Jenny, Vicki and Jan Hoogvliet, Lisa and Hamish Neil, Rachel and Andrew Hooks, loved Grandad to Abby and Ben Katon, Holly and Jack Rouse, Alice and Jeremy Nelson, Harry and Thomas Hooks, and loving great-Grandad to little Surrey Rouse. Loved brother to Angus* and Margaret, Stanley*and Keye*, Graham, Josie Katon, Ngaire and Wayne* McGowan, and loved Uncle. As per Allan’s wishes a private family cremation has taken place. Died peacefully on 3rd June 2023, aged 93. Much loved wife of the late Peter, mother of David, Michael and Richard. Aged 87. Died June 1, 2023. After a short illness, passed peacefully with his family around him at Summerset Care. Dearly loved husband of Doreen. Loved father to Raymond, Noel and Phillip. Loved father-in-law to Raewyn, Averil and Robyn. Loved Grandad to Sharn, Janae, Mathew and Celina, Anita, Natasha and Gabe, and Anna-Grace. Loved Great-Granddad to Lauchlan and Briana. A private funeral service was held on June 6 at Garden of Remembrance Chapel, Hope. Special thanks to St John Ambulance, Hospice and the staff at Summerset in the Sun Care Unit.
