Allan passed away in Southland Hospital, true to form Allan fought to the end. Loved husband of Marilyn, loved father and father-in-law to Steven and Jenny, Vicki and Jan Hoogvliet, Lisa and Hamish Neil, Rachel and Andrew Hooks, loved Grandad to Abby and Ben Katon, Holly and Jack Rouse, Alice and Jeremy Nelson, Harry and Thomas Hooks, and loving great-Grandad to little Surrey Rouse. Loved brother to Angus* and Margaret, Stanley*and Keye*, Graham, Josie Katon, Ngaire and Wayne* McGowan, and loved Uncle. As per Allan’s wishes a private family cremation has taken place.
