Passed away peacefully on 10 June 2023 in the presence of her beloved husband Bruce. Dearly loved Mum of David and Angela and their partners. Loved Nanny of Joshua, Luke, and Lily. Lois’ family would like to thank the St John Ambulance and all the staff at Palmerston North Hospital for all their loving care of Lois. Lois’ funeral service will be held on Tuesday 13 June 2023 at The Lychway Funeral Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, at 1.00pm, followed by her burial at Kelvin Grove Lawn Cemetery, James Line, Palmerston North. Donations to St John Ambulance may be left in the Chapel foyer. Lois’ family ask that you please wear something bright and colourful to her service.
Died peacefully at home on 8th June 2023, at 72 years, surrounded by the love of her family. Much loved wife and soulmate of Doug and wonderful mother, Bifma, Maha and mother-in-law of Anita, Eloise, Calvin, Kate, Will, Zoe, Ari, Anja and Bryn. A wonderful sister to John Beattie (of Patearoa/Karitane), Ann Howe and Mary Boromeo (of Australia). A very special aunty, cousin and friend to so many. She will be deeply missed. Ann passed away peacefully on June 5, 2023, at Linda Jones Retirement Village, surrounded by her family. Dearly loved wife of the late Marinus (Ray) Noorland, loved mum and mother-in-law of Rene & Jo, Harry & Donna, Robin & Tracey, and Danny & Vicky Noorland. Loved Oma to her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A service for Ann was held at the Hamilton Park Cemetery, Newstead, on June 9, 2023.
