On January 5, 2023, at Nelson Hospice, peacefully with her family by her side, aged 67. Dearly loved husband of Graeme. Beloved and devoted mum to Kylie and Marc, Carl and Clere. Grandmother to Kaitlyn, Chantelle, Jack, Lucas, and Riva. Sister to Maureen
and Bernard; aunty to Anna and Will, Peter and Cheyne. Stepmother to Aaron and Danni, Tracy and Gavin. Stepgrandmother to Jordy, Kynan, Lacey, Nataliah, Savannah, Emily, Zoe, and Bailey. Family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at Nelson Hospital that cared for Lyn, and the wonderful staff at Nelson Hospice for all their support. Also thanks to everyone for their kind messages, flowers and baking. A private funeral has been held.

Mum passed away in her sleep at Calvary Hospital, on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Loved wife of the late Eric William Fulton. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Geoff and Alyth (Lower Hutt), Grant and Gillian (Invercargill). Loved Grandma and Great-Grandma of Hilary and Adam and Alice; Andrew and Krysta, and Cameron and Arthur; Angela and Matt, and Tyrell and Alexia (Perth); Robert and Kelly and Jazlyn and Rubi. In accordance with Mum’s wishes, a private cremation has been held. Family wish to sincerely thank the staff at Calvary Hospital for their love and care given to mum over the last three years, and thank you to Rachael and the team at J Fraser and Sons.

Peacefully at Terrace View Retirement Village, Ashburton (formerly of Pleasant Point) on Monday, January 9, 2023, aged 83 years. Gone to be with his Lord and Saviour. Dearly loved husband of Ngaire for 62 years. Adored and loved father and father-in-law of Faye and Neil (Pleasant Point), Suzanne (Waipahi), Eon (deceased) and Theresa (Reno USA), Karl and Jane (Lauriston), Ilene (Temuka), Vicki and Evan (Christchurch), Melvin and Megan (Ashburton), Vaughan and Amanda (Fergus Falls USA). Much loved granddad of 31 grandchildren and great-granddad of 28 great-grandchildren. His legacy lives on! Loved eldest son of Clifford and Susie (both deceased). Brother and brother-in-law of Elsie and Ray (both deceased), John and Margie, and Philip. Brother-in-law to Ngaire’s family, Janice (deceased), Des (deceased), Don and Sheryl, and Margaret (deceased). Uncle and great-uncle to many more. Grateful to the end, Jan died on January 11, 2023, in her Rotorua home, at the age of 92, cared for by family. Wife of the late James (Jim). Loving and supportive mother of Helen and Craig, Anne, Jenny; nana of Kate and Chris, Ben and Charlotte, Ollie and Steph, Alex and Melissa, Nicole and Jirka, Tasha, Mick and Steph, Zach and Georgia, Jake and Esther, Joe and Liana, Eli, Dan and Emma, Reuben, Shem and Jordis; great-nana of Leo, Peyton, Beau, and two more on the way. A dedicated teacher at heart until the age of 86, including many years at Burnside High School. Her tinkly laugh made us all happy, including the neighbours who could hear it from next door. Ivo left us very suddenly and unexpectedly at Nelson Hospital in the early morning of January 9, 2023. Ivo was the deeply loved partner of Sian Holden for 26 years and the devoted and beloved father of Seren Holden. He was embraced and loved as one of the family by Delyth, Marty, Caitlin and Thomas Logan, and Patrick and Jean Holden. Ivo was deeply loved and respected by his sisters Sibylle Kratzsch and Eva Berger and his nieces and nephews Annika, Lasse, Kai and Kristof, in Germany. He will be very much missed, and his absence will be keenly felt, by his many friends in Germany and New Zealand. Passed away peacefully at Molly Ryan Lifecare on Wednesday 11 January 2023, with family at her side, aged 94. On Thursday 12th January 2023 at Te Rangimarie Hospice, NP, aged 59 years, after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer. Treasured son of Irene and the late Bruce.
