Passed away peacefully at Granger House, Greymouth, with loving family by her side, on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Aged 94 years. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Hunk (Keith) and Pauline Armstrong, and the late John and Carol Armstrong, dearly loved Nana of her 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. A very special thank you to the nurses and carers at Granger House for the love and wonderful care of our Nana. Special thanks to Jo for going above and beyond your duty. HARRIS, Gillian Margaret (King)
Died at home peacefully on Christmas Eve 2022. She was surrounded by her treasured children Juliet, David and Matthew and beloved husband Michael (with Dali). She was dear sister of Beresford and adoring Grannie to six, and loving auntie and cherished friend to many. In her last weeks she was cared for lovingly and expertly at home by her doctor Bevan Telfer and the nurses of Mary Potter Hospice and the district nurses of Kapiti Community Health Service. A service to commemorate Gillian’s life will be held at St Margaret’s Church, 38 School Road, Te Horo (nr Otaki), on Tuesday 17th January 2023 at 1.30pm. Born in Te Kuiti, grew up in Tauranga, educated at Waikato and Canterbury Universities, and lived in Canterbury for many years. Prominent in the health field. Loved the great outdoors and travel.

Passed away peacefully January 8, 2023 at the Charles Fleming Retirement Village, Waikanae, in her 97th year. Born at Llangunllo in Wales. Ada came to NZ in 1946 as a War Bride. She was the beloved wife of the late Dirk Kattenberg and the late Roy Ashworth, Paraparaumu. Also remembering her late fiancé Mervyn Davis RNZAF 427103 of Invercargill. Died on Active Service 17 March 1945 and buried at Durnbach War Cemetery, Germany. Loved mother and mother-in-law of the late Marie Porter (Aust), and Margaret and Mike Fraser (Auckland).
