Ivo left us very suddenly and unexpectedly at Nelson Hospital in the early morning of January 9, 2023. Ivo was the deeply loved partner of Sian Holden for 26 years and the devoted and beloved father of Seren Holden. He was embraced and loved as one of the family by Delyth, Marty, Caitlin and Thomas Logan, and Patrick and Jean Holden. Ivo was deeply loved and respected by his sisters Sibylle Kratzsch and Eva Berger and his nieces and nephews Annika, Lasse, Kai and Kristof, in Germany. He will be very much missed, and his absence will be keenly felt, by his many friends in Germany and New Zealand.
