Passed away at Christchurch Hospital, June 9, 2023. Dearly loved brother of Valmai and brother-in-law of the late Colin Patterson. Treasured Uncle of Susan and Ken, Mark and Judith, Heather and Robert, and Sharon, and their families.

Passed away peacefully in Christchurch on Sunday, June 11, 2023, aged 93 years young. Loved wife of Frank (deceased), loved mother and mother-in-law of Laurence, Jane, Robert and Veronique, and much loved Nana to Liloue, and Luka. Derm sadly passed away at Annie Brydon Life Care Hawera, on Saturday 10th June 2023 aged 81 years. Loved Husband of the late Pam. Dearly adored dad of Bruce and Connie (Australia), Sarndra and Bobby Elejorde (USA), and the late Michelle. Loved grandad of Luke, Kellie; and Ethan. Family and friends are warmly welcomed to celebrate the life of Derm at Alton Coronation Hall, Ball Road Alton on Friday 16th June 2023, commencing at 11.00am. Passed away on 11 June 2023 at Atawai Assisi, aged 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Wim, and cherished Mum of Willem & Vicki, John & Sarah, and Peter & Gillian. Passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday 11 June 2023 aged, 77 years. Dearly loved husband of Lorna for 50 years. Passed away peacefully in his sleep at Wanganui Hospital on Monday 12 June 2023, in his 78th year. Dearly loved husband of Saraswati Parvati (Jill). Much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Kiran and Kokila, Veejay and Sangita, Raj and Janine. Treasured Bapa (Grandfather) of Bailee, Anika, Kiyaan, Keesha, Kayden and Meela.

Our most heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Wanganui Hospital who cared for Ray over the years, and in particular the amazing team at the Critical Care Unit (Wanganui Hospital) for their care and dedication over his final days. Special thanks to Dr Alan Mangan and Dr Fiona Christian for their support. In lieu of flowers, donations received at the service will be given to Heart Foundation and St John New Zealand. (Registered nurse No. 32926.) Peacefully passed away at home in Matahiwi, Masterton, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, 6 June 2023. Most loving, devoted, cherished wife and soul mate of Ron for 57 years. Adored and deeply loved mother and mother-in-law of Mark and Maha, Claire and Andrew, and her close and ever-loving sisters and brother, Jen, Ken and Marg (Grit). Much loved by her grandchildren Samara, Laith, Tate and Amber.

A heart felt thank you for the care shown to Pam by the oncology teams at Wellington and Wairarapa Hospitals and the wonderful Palliative care nurses. In accordance with Pam’s wishes a private family service has been held. It is the family wish to have a memorial gathering later in the year.
