On March 13, 2023, suddenly at home, aged 90. Loving husband to Adele, father of Trevor, Anne and Keith. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late John Wignall, c/- Hope Funerals,
27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042. A celebration of John’s life will be held at The Christchurch Contract Bridge Club, Nova Place, Christchurch, on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 2.00pm. A private cremation has been held.

BARNETT, John Geoffrey Barrington (Geoff)

Passed away on 3rd March 2023. Much loved and adored husband of the late Mary. Loved brother of Philip & Miriam; Rosemary & Dennis; and Justin & Kathy. Loved father to Fiona and loved by his many nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Geoff’s life will be held at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae on Monday 20th March at 2.00pm.

Passed away peacefully in her daughter’s arms, on Wednesday 15th March 2023, aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of Owen (dec). Dearly loved Grandmother of Jaun, Euan, Amber, Duncan, Natasha, Steven, Jackson, Courtney, Ebony and Chantel, and her 10 great-grandchildren. Passed away peacefully at Stokeswood on 16 March 2023; aged 77 years. Much loved partner of Beryl Walker; father of Rachael, Sam, Melanie, and Nicala; father-in-law of Leric, Emily, and Mark; grandfather of Beli, Otis; Leslie, Max; Beau, Arin, Liam, and Jake. Special thanks to the staff at Stokeswood for their love, care and respect. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimers New Zealand would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A service to celebrate his life will be held in Cornwall Manor, cnr Knights Rd & Cornwall St, Lower Hutt, on Tuesday 21 March at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. Died peacefully on the 17th March 2023 at Atawhai Assisi Home and Hospital, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Maureen. Loved father and father-in-law of Barb, Mary & Maurice, Stephen (deceased) & Liz, Pippa & Noel. Loved Grandfather John of Daniel & Carinda, Hannah, Becky, Simon, Anna, Alistair & Jess, Bernard, and Katie. Great grandfather of Oscar, Charlotte, and Harper. Loved friend of the late Dawn. Of Johnsonville, Wellington. On Thursday 16th March 2023 passed away in the comfort of his home in Waihi Beach, aged 78. Much loved father of Karl, Craig and Mark, his daughters-in-law Lisa, Hayley and Sue, his grandchildren Nikita, Liam and Emma. Survived by his brothers Neil (the new patriarch), Steve and his sister Julia. Loved by his extended family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at the Waihi Beach RSA, 99 Beach Road, Waihi Beach, on Tuesday 21st March, from 2.00pm.
