Peacefully at Wellington Hospital on 26 March 2023, surrounded by family. Deeply loved partner of Patrick. Treasured daughter of Tom and Gwen, sister of Deb and Damian, loved aunty of Jack and Rory. Step-mum to Emily, Albert, Patrick, Andrew, Cameron, Logan and Jennifer. Treasured friend of Rachel and Chris. Much loved and missed by so many others. No flowers by request. A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Fatima, corner of Main Road and Lyndhurst Road, Tawa, Wellington, on Thursday 30 March 2023 at 11.00am.

On Saturday, March 25, 2023, peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospital; in her 91st year. Much loved by Jenny and Paul, Nigel, Jocelyn (dec), and Barry; Nevil and Rosemary, Zoe and John (dec), Adam and Tania, Jaime and Layna; Koda and Niah. Much loved by all her nieces and nephews. A heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff at Nurse Maude Hospital for their amazing care and support.

Peacefully on March 24, 2023, after a short illness. Dearly loved wife of the late John and mother and mother-in-law of Bridget and Conor Farrell (U.K), Anne and Greg Bathurst (Christchurch), Mark and Tracey (Christchurch), Jane and Andrew Oglesby (U.K). Loved nana of Joshua, Jacinta and Liam O’Reilly; Isabella and Eliza Bathurst; and Kate and Isla Oglesby. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Austin Lysaght and Joan (deceased), Margaret Prendergast and John (deceased), Pauline and Warwick Tuck, and Patricia and Euan Cant. A Mass of Celebration for Bernadette will be held at the Sacred Heart Basilica, 7 Craigie Ave, Timaru, on Friday, March 31, 2023, at 11.00am, followed by the interment at Ashburton Cemetery. Peacefully on 25 March 2023 at Auckland Hospital with loved ones at his side, aged 69 years. Beloved partner of Song Yao Hui. Son of the late Esme Thomasina Price (formerly Shaw) and George Leithead Shaw. Beloved brother of Rosemary Shaw (deceased), Graham and Roger Price, loved uncle of Mark and Claire Nicholls, Simon and Ben Price. Treasured great-uncle of Pelle, Finn and Charlie. A great friend and advisor to many, arts philanthropist and entrepreneur.

Loved and treasured grandfather and great-grandfather of all his mokopuna and mokopuna nui. A service to celebrate Maurice’s life will be held in the Academy Funeral Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, on Thursday, March 30 at 1.00pm, followed by a burial at the Belfast Cemetery.
