On Sunday, April 23, 2023, peacefully at Nelson Hospital, aged 96 years. Loved husband of the late Deseree Brighouse (nee Morrison), adored father to Daryl, Paul (deceased), Deborah and Michael ,and their partners. Loved twin sister of the late June Passmore and big sister to Margaret Benge and their families. Born in 1929 in Lower Hutt and happy resident of Upper Hutt and St Joseph’s parish for many years, Elva spent her last years in the wonderful care of the kind and compassionate staff of Fergusson rest home.
