On Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Charles Upham Aged Care Rangiora. Dearly loved partner of Chris Lewis (Cheviot), loved father of Trent (New Plymouth), and the late Abby (deceased). Loved step-father of Matt and Annalis Lewis, and loved Poppa of Caden, Blake and Mitchell Lewis. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Lyn and Gary Hickford (New Plymouth), Peter and Janice Burnnand (Opunake), and Geoffrey and Lauren Burnnand (Cambridge). Dearly loved by all his nieces and nephews. In accordance with John’s wishes, a private cremation has been held, and an informal gathering will be held to celebrate John’s life at the Rangiora RSA on Friday, April 28, at 12 noon.
