On Sunday 9th October and Monday 10th October between 7pm and 5.30am each night all buses will detour away from part of Riccarton Rd while road works are carried out. Buses travelling towards the city will detour off Riccarton Rd onto Mona Vale Ave, Kilmarnock St and Deans Ave back onto Riccarton … View moreOn Sunday 9th October and Monday 10th October between 7pm and 5.30am each night all buses will detour away from part of Riccarton Rd while road works are carried out. Buses travelling towards the city will detour off Riccarton Rd onto Mona Vale Ave, Kilmarnock St and Deans Ave back onto Riccarton Ave to continue the normal route. Buses travelling towards Westfield Riccarton will detour off Riccarton Ave onto Deans Ave, Kilmarnock St and Mona Vale Ave back onto Riccarton Rd to continue the normal route. Bus stops 17207 and 17932 on Riccarton Rd will be closed during this time and temporary stops will be set up on Riccarton Rd just west of the Mona Vale intersection. View detour map attached.

From Monday 10th October for approximately a week all buses travelling towards Mt Pleasant and McCormacks Bay will detour away from part of Mt Pleasant Rd while road works are carried out. Buses will detour off Major Hornbrooke Rd onto Billys Track and Mt Pleasant Rd back onto Soleares Ave to … View moreFrom Monday 10th October for approximately a week all buses travelling towards Mt Pleasant and McCormacks Bay will detour away from part of Mt Pleasant Rd while road works are carried out. Buses will detour off Major Hornbrooke Rd onto Billys Track and Mt Pleasant Rd back onto Soleares Ave to continue the normal route UNLESS passengers request to be dropped further up the hill upon boarding the bus.
If a passenger needs to be dropped further along the route buses will detour by continuing the normal route up Major Hornbrooke Rd then detour onto Madeley Rd, Bellview Tce and back down the hill along Major Hornbrooke Rd onto Billys Track and Mt Pleasant Rd back onto Soleares Ave to continue the normal route. Please note passengers need to tell the driver upon boarding they need to be taken up the hill otherwise the shorter detour will be run.
Buses travelling towards Russley are not affected. View detour map attached.

535 Eastgate - Lyttelton & Rapaki bus service detouring away from Bridle Path Rd from Monday 10th October

From Monday 10th October all buses will detour until further notice while Bridle Path Rd is closed for road works in both directions. Buses travelling towards Eastgate will detour off Bridle Path Rd onto Martindales Rd, Port Hills Rd and Tunnel Rd back onto Ferry Rd to continue the normal route. … View moreFrom Monday 10th October all buses will detour until further notice while Bridle Path Rd is closed for road works in both directions. Buses travelling towards Eastgate will detour off Bridle Path Rd onto Martindales Rd, Port Hills Rd and Tunnel Rd back onto Ferry Rd to continue the normal route. Buses travelling towards Lyttelton and Rapaki will detour off Ferry Rd onto Tunnel Rd, Scruttons Rd, Laing Cres, Port Hills Rd and Martindales Rd back onto Bridle Path Rd to continue the normal route.

All bus stops on Bridle Path Rd between Martindales Rd and Ferry Rd will be closed and all stops on Ferry Rd east of the Tunnel Rd roundabout will also be closed to the 535 service. If travelling from Ferry Rd to Eastgate take the 140 Russley service instead. If travelling from Ferry Rd to Lyttelton walk to stop 15759 on Ferry Rd just west of the Tunnel Rd roundabout. If travelling from Bridle Path Rd please go to stops 42447 and 42391 on Bridle Path Rd just south of Martindales Rd. View the detour and bus stop map attached.

From Tuesday 11 October 2016 Citizens Advice will be joining the collection of Community Wellbeing Services on offer at The Loft in Eastgate Mall.

Citizens Advice will be staffed every Tuesday from 11am to 2pm.

The Official Opening of the Loft was held on Friday 19th August with Prime Minister John Key in attendance as well as Lianne Dalziel and other cabinet ministers.

We'd love to meet you so come along.

We are also available at our three Branches in Hornby, Fendalton & the CBD and the Satellite service at South Library on Colombo Street.
