140 Russley - Mt Pleasant bus service detouring away from Mt Pleasant Rd Monday 10th October
From Monday 10th October for approximately a week all buses travelling towards Mt Pleasant and McCormacks Bay will detour away from part of Mt Pleasant Rd while road works are carried out. Buses will detour off Major Hornbrooke Rd onto Billys Track and Mt Pleasant Rd back onto Soleares Ave to continue the normal route UNLESS passengers request to be dropped further up the hill upon boarding the bus.
If a passenger needs to be dropped further along the route buses will detour by continuing the normal route up Major Hornbrooke Rd then detour onto Madeley Rd, Bellview Tce and back down the hill along Major Hornbrooke Rd onto Billys Track and Mt Pleasant Rd back onto Soleares Ave to continue the normal route. Please note passengers need to tell the driver upon boarding they need to be taken up the hill otherwise the shorter detour will be run.
Buses travelling towards Russley are not affected. View detour map attached.
