The Selwyn District Council has issued a boil water notice for residents on the Sheffield-Waddington water supply. Test results have shown E.coli levels are above recommended levels.
Council has begun temporary chlorination of the water supply but residents should continue to boil water until the notice is lifted.

E.coli is an organism which can cause health issues. When a boil water notice is in place, the Ministry of Health advises that people should boil or treat all water from taps before drinking, brushing teeth or using it in food preparation. In addition, water used to make ice should also be boiled before freezing.

Anyone who shows symptoms of sickness should visit their doctor as soon as they are able to.

Hi
I have been doing surveys on Valued Opinions for some time now, and been receiving some reward 'pocket money' in the form of vouchers.
www.valuedopinions.co.nz...
Over the past few weeks, I have observed that:
1. No new surveys are available
2. I tried to redeem a $20 reward out of available balance of $27.75, but could not. "An unexpected error has occured. Please contact us...." was the message I received.
I smell a rat......and would be keen to know if anyone else has had a recent experience - positive or otherwise.
Thanks in advance.
