Culture Galore is an annual event at Ray Blank Park celebrating Christchurch’s diverse ethnic culture in a family atmosphere.
There will be stage performances, activities and a range of food stalls. Event entry and activities are free . As well as all this fabulous entertainment , 2 of our wonderful volunteers will be there manning the CAB stall so why not say hello. If you are looking to get into volunteer then look no further ! We are currently recruiting for volunteers for our North and City Branches. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
