The world’s best bowlers are set to descend on Christchurch in November when the city hosts the pinnacle - World Bowls Championships.
Running from 29 November to 11 December, the championships will see top class international bowlers battling it out on greens across Christchurch.

The closure scheduled for the weekend of November 19-20 has been cancelled due to the Cook Strait ferry service being cancelled following the Kaikoura earthquake. Essential equipment needed is currently stuck in the North Island.
