March's Citizenship Ceremony in Christchurch
Every month this year close to two hundred new Kiwis will take the Oath or Affirmation of Allegiance to become New Zealand Citizens in Christchurch. It's a celebration that recognises that all Kiwis, at one stage, came from another country but the rich mix of culture, language, customs, religions and traditions makes NZ the very special and unique place it is. It was a privilege to be asked to help present as a community board member and congratulate our newest citizens.

How much does it cost to join AEA?
There are no dues or fees for joining AEA or attending AEA meetings. We are self-supporting through our own voluntary contributions. At some point during each meeting we pass the basket to help cover expenses, such as the cost of rent and literature. Members are not obliged to contribute, but we usually do so to the extent we are able.
