Cell phones in schools

They could use the $5 million of wasted tax payers money Damien O'Conner spent with cell phone jammers to stop prisoners accessing their phones while in prison.
All totally removed now. Better still, place the scanners in Parliament and have them operating when parliament is in session. Politicians behaviour is often far worse than that from students in school or in the play yard. Maybe if the SPEAKER was to have scrolled the names of the worst offenders each day on Channel 31 before the 'silly season starts at 2 pm might help the suffering public get more value for the money they cost from the drama queens and kings. ps I think the current speaker is 1000% better than his predecessor.

The leader of the National Party has announced a plan to ban cellphones from all classrooms to minimize distractions for students. The Labour party has commented that this is commonplace already and is a decision best left for individual schools. Do you think a ban should be enforced?
