Papanui High School is offering a Beginners Level 1a Sign Language course for Term 4 which will teach students basic Sign Language following the New Zealand Curriculum. Students will learn numbers, the alphabet, shapes, signing names, facial expression and body language. The course which begins on Tuesday 29 October and run for 6 weeks at a cost of $95 is being taught by Emma Bensley who is deaf.
