We’re asking all Christchurch residents to save water so we can end temporary chlorination sooner.

The less water we use, the faster we can upgrade our wells. It all adds up, and we really appreciate people’s efforts.

The biggest demand for household water comes from garden sprinklers and irrigators. A better option is to use a hose with a spray gun, or a watering can. Better still, water only on alternate days between 9pm and 7am, when it's cooler.
