This Sunday, Michael Brown begins our new series, What if our brokenness were a bridge, not a barrier? Might sound like a strange title, but basically, this series will explore the damage that shame and guilt can wreak on us, and how God wants to set us free from those knots to live fully. We'll finish this series looking at the story of The Prodigal Son.
Hope you can join us, as always, the coffee is hot from 10.15am and the gathering goes from 10.30am-12pm!

People, sitting on picnic blankets and on chairs, turned to strangers and embraced, others wiped their partners tears and women wore headscarves to show their solidarity.
Speakers stood on a stage meant for the Bryan Adams concert cancelled a week earlier, and in front of them a sea of people sat in absolute silence as the names of the 50 killed were read out by the Linwood mosque Imam Ibrahim Abdul Halim.

For many people, it is time to explore a deeper meaning of life — to know thyself‚ as the ancient philosophers urged. One way to do this is through studying with the Rosicrucian Order.
You will explore how the human mind works, learn self healing techniques, unleash your full creative potential, empower yourself to achieve new goals, practise effective meditation to realise inner peace and harmony, and most importantly, discover your mystical connection with the universe. All this is done through home learning and personal experimentation, although there are local groups to join if you wish.
The Rosicrucian Order AMORC is nonprofit, non-religious, non-political. It is an international organisation — the largest of its kind in the western world — of educators, students and seekers exploring inner wisdom and the meaning of life.
To find out if The Rosicrucian Order can benefit you, go to the website www.amorc.org.au, or for the free, no obligation booklet Mastery Of Life phone 027 552 7777, or email nzrc@amorc.org.au

For a lot of us, the idea of a 'fun day' doesn't sit well so soon after the mass shootings. However, as we've seen around the city in so many displays of unity, community is essential. Join us this Sunday, from 1-3pm at Sockburn Park, to share community together. Yes, there will be fun things on offer, especially for our tamariki, and there will also be spaces to simply be together, share a hug, some kai, some time. We hope you can join us!
