Recognise a local here
If you know someone who gives up their time to help others or goes above and beyond to make a big difference in their local community, now is the time to nominate them for a Christchurch City Council Civic Award.
Each year, the Christchurch City Council recognises the efforts of individuals or groups who work, on a voluntary basis, to make a positive impact in the city by giving out Civic Awards. Whether it comes from an individual, society, association, club or group, anyone can nominate a worthy candidate for consideration.

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
-
37.1% The sting of a fine (Money talks!)
-
62.9% The threat of demerit points (Nobody wants to lose their license!)
