*IGNORE the fear - no worries.
*DESENSITIZE the sound BEFORE the event by downloading a sound app and starting off at low volume and build up over time. I use "Noise and Sound" which is available on android.

There is a pamphlet to guide you that comes with a shoebox and there is a $10 donation to add on top of your filled shoe box.
