Kathmandu Coast to Coast 2020
12 January 2020
Dear Residents,
The Christchurch City Council has requested we inform you of an upcoming activity in your area.
The Kathmandu Coast to Coast is a multisport event which starts on the West Coast and is finishing here on the East Coast at New Brighton.
Cyclists will be arriving in New Brighton on Saturday 8th February 2020 from 1pm till midnight.
The Finish line area is in front of the Library and car parking in front of the library will be closed, the North and South Car parks will have restricted parking during this time.
There will be FIREWORKS let off on the beach front at the finish when the last competitor finishes at approximately 10:30pm.
Management wishes to in-form you of temporary road closures for the up-coming event.
Proposed Temporary Road Closures: Marine Parade
• Marine Parade- Beresford Street to Hawke Street from 6:00am to 1:00am on February 8th and 9th 2020.
