Night closures SH16 The Strand
From Sunday 30 March to Thursday 3 April 2025 State Highway 16 (SH16) The Strand will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 5am from Quay Street/Tamaki Drive to Beach Road.
This is one of the final pieces of work in our Summer works programme to improve the Port area and make it safer and easier for people living, working and travelling around this area.

The popular high tea service at Alberton in Mt Albert is being held this year on Sunday 22&29 March at 2 pm. Join us to enjoy a traditional tea service served in the atmospheric ballroom or out on the lovely verandah at this much-loved heritage site.
