WATER BILL CHARGES = UP

Don from Westmere

Latest "Tapped In "(dated Autumn arrived this week)in suggests the water bills will go up 25.8 % July1st (Says to run the business) We went against 3 waters to avoid high increased costs= what happen there ?? OK 25% on $30 is only $7 but on a $300 bill = $75 a mth extra. What in the earth brought on this crazy high rise recommendation . The silly thing in notice saying Public submissions closed in march via the Auck long term plan (were you aware ?) No worries !! we will give you 10 notice of price rise on our website that no one looks at or even can access. The wording in Tapped in is subtle = it could mean any prices. I can't recall getting the summer edition of "Tapped In" is anything about it in that issue ?? I feel sorry for big families having to put up with large increases along with all other lower increases in recent times. TBA
