Alberton & church/graveyard tours & tea, Auckland Heritage Festival 2020!

Join us as part of the Auckland Heritage Festival 2020 to explore the wider world of Alberton's Kerr Taylors!

In guided tours at two historic churches and graveyards, discover the Alberton connection and some of the family secrets contained within their walls!

Tour one at charming Category 1 listed, Gothic Revival St Andrew's, Epsom will reveal an intriguing, recently uncovered twist in the Alberton saga to do with an elopement. Tour two takes place in the hood at St Luke's Mt Albert, where almost all the Kerr Taylors are buried, and gives an insight into their roles as founding patrons.

Both tours are followed by tea & scones back at Alberton at your own place with plenty of time to meander in the house and garden!
