Kids, Kites and Colour - free kids event
A free summer pop-up event happening in a park near you on January 14.
BYO picnic and come and create with us in the park! We’ll be making our own kites, connecting with kids from all over the world, and having a great day out. Drop in anytime between 10am-1pm and be part of the event.
Creative Connection with Colour Our Story
Be part of a project to connect kids in communities all over the world through art. Create your own messages and drawings in colouring books (designed by kids from all over the world) that will be sent to kids in Haiti, Uganda, and Sierra Leone. They’ll find your message when they get their books! We’ll also be colouring and decorating the box that will be sent to the community.
For an optional $10 you can sponsor a book to be part of the project, and you’ll also receive your own book, so your kids can see life through the eyes of another child.
Make a Kite with Marshmallow and Mint
Colour, make and fly your own simple kite. It’s impossible to be unhappy flying a kite, and anyone can make one! All materials and instructions provided, imagination and experimentation highly encouraged.
Marshmallow and Mint deliver themed NZ made boxes of inspirational and creative activities that make the holidays easy and fun! Boxes will be available to view and order during the event.
Kids, Kites, and Colour is a creative collaboration from Colour Our Story and Marshmallow and Mint.
