the housing market is broken and it needs fixing
Hey alll!
Some of you may know that I co-run TEDxAuckland and I wanted to share an event we have coming up on Thursday that you might be interested in.
Chris Smith, CEO of Open Ventures gave a TED talk at TEDxAuckland this year and it was pretty epic.
The talk will be online soon but in essence he was saying the housing market is broken and it needs fixing. He's got an idea of how to fix it and how to get millions of kiwis into homes with no debt and no deposit.
Anyhow, we're having a few drinks and pizza this Thursday at BizDojo in Ponsonby and Chris will share his idea in more detail if you're interested. He'd love to get your feedback.
Oh and one small factoid, he's raised $10 million dollars and wants people in homes before Christmas to be part of a beta group.
If you're around, that would be awesome. Please let us know by clicking the link below and hope to see you on Thursday!
Feel free to pass the invite on if you think it's more relevant to someone else. As an FYI, the event is only relevant to people renting or flatting 🙂.
Thanks
