Halloween in Westmere

Hi Westmere,
Halloween is approaching and clouds are beginning to gather over Chester Ave.
We live at number 38 and every year we go away to visit my Great Uncle Igor and Great Aunt Cruella in Transylvania.
Except last year.
Last year we stayed home and were very surprised by the number of kids who were trick-or-treating in our street. For some reason they looked very disappointed when they reached our house.
Please pass on to them all that we are going to Transylvania again this year so whatever it is that usually happens in Chester Ave on Halloween will be happening again.

Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times. Find out more
