setting up house

Anne from St Heliers

Hello Neighbours
I'm posting here on behalf of friends, who are setting up their first NZ home, in Glendowie. They're starting from scratch and need most everything.
If you're spring clearing, de-cluttering, downsizing, moving, and have good quality home items (washing machine, beds, lounge suites, dining table & chairs, surplus crockery, etc) they're keen to take a look. Free items would be greatly appreciated however, they're happy to buy good quality, clean and sturdy items.
Easiest is to please reply here with your phone number and suburb, or text me on 0274 575 111
Many thanks! Anne

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
