Christmas security

Robert from Exceed - We fix windows & doors

This month’s Tip from Exceed
While you’re preparing to head away over the Christmas break think about how secure your home is while you are away.

There are lots of things you can do to ensure your property is safe including:
• Fitting window and door locks
• Gluing glass louvre slats in place
• Fitting patio bolts and dead bolts to sliding and hinged doors
• Joining your local Neighbourhood Support group

We have a useful booklet called “A Practical Guide to Home Security” which we can send you free of charge. It includes a going away checklist and a household security survey. If you would like a copy please email Robert at robert@exceed.co.nz
We wish you a happy and safe holiday season.

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It may be fine now but in a few years trees can block out light or views for neighbours.

Do you think neighbours should ask before they go ahead and plant these?
