Backyard pest trapping in Ōrākei all the rage
Protecting the natural environment is a priority for Aucklanders and the Eastern Days Songbird Project is helping residents encourage the return of native birds to their backyards, thanks to funding from the local board and the council's natural environment targeted rate. The project is proving so popular, residents outside of the project area are taking up the idea.
