St Thomas Church is planning a fundraising gala, fair with the purpose of raising funds for the heritage stained glass windows which are in dire need of repair, and our pipe organ.
St Thomasโs has been part of our community since 1843, it was the first stone Anglican Church to be built accompanied by a graveyard which Pฤkehฤ, Pasifika, Mฤori were laid to rest.
The stained glass windows are an example of magnificent craftsmanship and part of our heritage, they deserve to be restored so future generations can enjoy. The organ is a special instrument, and enjoyed by many, but is in need of repairs.
