FOOD WASTE impacts everyone including the environment & wild life.

Unmanaged food waste brings rats, flies & stench.

There must be somebody out there in Neighbourly Land who would like to contribute to the local community in these harsh economic times, there is a grass roots "food bank" between Freerange & Sunhill Fresh. But needs an hour or so a week to be maintained by a considerate human that can liase with the fruit shop staff to reduce thier waste & maybe get donations from other businesses ?

It's really up to you.

I can assist with some materials to make the storage shelves more weather proof & can take some green waste into the worm farm compost next to it.

This sort of contribution helps immensly towards native bird populations as the waste protocol as is has caused more rat populations since the closure of the Garden Center.

Only message me if you are serious about helping out.

"Seeing our struggling senior people collect food out of this filthy bin is very undignified"
