No Recycling - Day 38
McEldowney Rd last had a recycling collection on 23 January. Seven calls, multiple messages to Auckland Council over the past two weeks is useless.
Two recycling collections this year. It is now March.
We have had to put recycling into rubbish bins (at our expense) multiple times. If they do their normal collection on Monday, I will immediately fill it up again with all of the cardboard, cans, plastic that we have had to pile up.
They are useless.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
