Help please - wool for babies

Elizabeth from Glendowie

Help please ...

Please help by donating wool, donating to buy wool, or donating new unused newborn or premmie clothing.
We have a remarkable lady in her 90s who dedicates her time to knitting adorable clothes for newborns and premature babies in need. Her craftsmanship brings comfort and warmth to the tiniest of lives at a time of great need.
However, the soaring cost of wool is posing a challenge. I believe in the power of community, and that's where you come in.

How you can help:
Do you have spare bits of wool lying around? Would you like to contribute toward buying wool to help this wonderful lady continue knitting to help babies and parents in need?

Donate:
Every small contribution adds up even if it is just half a ball of wall or a bag of bits of wool. Your generosity will make a difference.

Contact:
If you have wool to spare or wish to make a donation, please direct message me or leave a comment below and I will contact you.

I am sure we can keep her knitting needles going and can help make a difference in the lives of these little ones’ and parents’ lives during such an important and challenging time.

This is a sample of her knitting, which was part of a large box of clothes that she had knitted — and went to Middlemore Hospital Neonatal Unit yesterday.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
