Thank Your Cleaner Day.

Work hard, keep us safe and go the extra mile – that’s what Aotearoa’s 40,000 cleaners do every day. They keep our schools, healthcare centres, shopping malls, places of work and public spaces hygienic and safe for us all to enjoy. That’s been especially important over the last 18 months. Our cleaners have been out amongst it on the frontline fighting against the spread of COVID-19.

On Wednesday, 20 October it’s time to acknowledge these superstars. Make sure you say thanks to the cleaner in your life!

Uplands Kindergarten at Somervell Church

Head Teacher from Uplands Kindergarten

Christmas is fast approaching and each session brings another idea for decorations. We were very lucky to get a supply of empty wool cones this year (we ran out). Add some wire and colourful beads, which the children are deft at threading on, and they make the best Christmas trees.
