Pet Microchipping

Harriet from Orakei

Hi neighbours,

There are so many found, lost and stray pets about at the moment and I have a question for you all!

Are your cats and dogs microchipped?

Is your microchip registered on the national animal register? Or just on the council register when your dog is registered?

It’s not expensive to add your pets microchip to the national animal register (this is SEPERATE from your dogs registration)

We an animal is found or run over or found dead - having a microchip that is registered means someone like myself - Pet Nurse Auckland or animal control or a vet clinic can call you straight away and either return the animal to you or get the ok to go ahead with emergency medical treatment.

I am willing to check these for you if you are unsure if you send me your microchip number.
Microchipping saves so much time and heart ache! If you have any questions please ask me or your vets!

The more microchipped pets we have the better!! Cats are important too!
And I can do that in your home! Just get in touch!

Lost blue embossed scarf

Andrea Neighbourly Lead from St Heliers

Hi Everyone. Just on the off chance someone may have spotted my very pretty scarf/ stole, I am trying Neighbourly as a means to find it. It is a light blue colour with gold bumble bees embossed on top . It may have slipped off my shoulders without me realising. My mobile is 021-817-246 and fingers crossed it may turn up. Thank you.

Make a hearty dish. Take just half a minute. Add four parts of kestrel. Then just add one. What have you made?

(Trev from Silverdale kindly provided this head-scratcher ... thanks, Trev!)

The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑

Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
