Beginner-friendly yoga and meditation at the beach :)

Sarah from Orakei

Hello neighbours! Long week?

Join me at 7pm every Thursday evening at Kohimarama Yacht Club with the sound of the waves and a view to melt the day away and get you ready for the weekend. We do one half yoga lesson, and one half guided lay-down meditation, proven to help with sleep and stress.

All are welcome regardless of ability, body shape, gender, age or outfit :)

Bring your mat, blanket and pillow (a few available, first come first served) and $15.

The yoga is about how you move, breathe and feel -- not how you look. No experience is necessary. Expect to take home practical tips to go about your day more aware and relaxed.

(Saturdays we do beach yoga right on Kohi beach just across from the Cafe on Kohi, without the extra long meditation at the end.)

Can't wait to see you!

Lost blue embossed scarf

Andrea Neighbourly Lead from St Heliers

Hi Everyone. Just on the off chance someone may have spotted my very pretty scarf/ stole, I am trying Neighbourly as a means to find it. It is a light blue colour with gold bumble bees embossed on top . It may have slipped off my shoulders without me realising. My mobile is 021-817-246 and fingers crossed it may turn up. Thank you.

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

Make a hearty dish. Take just half a minute. Add four parts of kestrel. Then just add one. What have you made?

(Trev from Silverdale kindly provided this head-scratcher ... thanks, Trev!)

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑

Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
