SPORTS DAY AT MOUNT HOBSON

Little Treehouse Kindergarten

Today we had our annual sports day at Mount Hobson/Ōhinerau. We all enjoyed being active with lots of fun activities including soccer, tag tails, rob the nest, a very tricky obstacle course and the crowd favourite- egg and spoon races. We shared a picnic morning tea followed by climbing Mount Hobson/Ōhinerau and some songs and fun with the giant parachute before heading back to kindy.

By participating in these activities the children are strengthening many skills including - balance, hand eye coordination, loco motor skills, listening and communication skills, patience and persistence.
All this learning while enjoying a wonderful summers day outdoors.
