*Aged 40 and above, without personal history or family history of pancreatitis or diabetes, to compare with our patients on pancreatitis and diabetes pathways.
WHAT THIS INVOLVES:
During your visit, you will first undergo a 45min abdominal MRI scan to assess your pancreas. This will take place at CAMRI (Centre for Advanced MRI – located within the University of Auckland School of Medicine); once completed you will receive a CD with your images.
Then, we will proceed to our COSMOS Clinic for metabolism testing:
• Your glycated haemoglobin, fasting blood glucose, cholesterol, iron and insulin levels will be measured
• Anthropometric measurements and Osteoporosis risk will be evaluated
• You will also be required to complete a few questionnaires.
Please note: You are required to come fasting – nothing to eat/drink from midnight the night before.
The entire visit will take no more than 2 hours and we will reimburse you with a $40.00 petrol voucher for your time and participation.
All the above tests will be conducted at no charge to you and free underground carpark is provided.

The Post recently shared an opinion piece on the Harbour Crossing and why a more democratic approach might be needed 🚗🚲👟
While most decisions sit within the political arena, many organisations—like NZTA—manage long-term projects that go beyond party lines. Politics can sometimes disrupt progress, and the next Harbour Crossing is a big decision that will affect all Aucklanders.
We’d love your thoughts: Should near-complete, shovel-ready designs be shared with the public, or should the community have a hand in shaping the designs from the start?

Poll: 🤖 What skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
