New Zealand Red Cross Annual Appeal!

Hello Neighbours,

New Zealand Red Cross supports the following:

-Disaster and Emergency relief in New Zealand and internationally
Last year we supported 15 domestic emergencies and completed 19 international deployments.

-Refugee Support
Last year we supported 880 new arrivals from 23 countries, and 498 Kiwis find work.

-Meals on Wheels
Last year we delivered nearly 710,000 meals.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
