Fun and meaningful part time work
A Sense of humour essential!
Two days per week in Mt Albert and One day in Glen Innes. (Job can be split/shared).
A young disabled man is looking for someone with a great sense of humour to support him 2 days per week. He is attending Unitec in Mt Albert and needs some help on Thursdays (8.30 - 12pm) and Fridays (8.30 - 2.15pm) during semesters. Saturday work also available from 10 until 2pm but is optional due to the need to fill Thursdays and Fridays as soon as possible.
A kind, caring and understanding person to help during class and when on outings. He uses his own laptop and power chair and needs some help engaging in the classroom. Your patience means you can support him at morning tea, lunch and with some personal cares. You must be fun and generally a lovely person to hang out with. If you are into hip hop, food (pancakes and bananas) and anime (Naruto and dragon ball z) then this could be a great connection.
Your day will consist of meeting him when he arrives at Unitec, spending the day helping him out until he goes home at 2.15pm. Saturdays would be a fun day going to the movies, shopping mall, museum or the park. Car parking fees are covered. Pay is $24 - $30 per hour.
A full licence is needed to work Saturdays but not for Thursdays and Fridays (job can be shared if needed).
