SONGKRAN 2019

Little Treehouse Kindergarten

The teachers and children at LIttle Treehouse Kindergarten would like to wish our local community best wishes for Songkran. This week our children have been learning about this Thai celebration, exploring Thai traditions with the making of stupas decorated with flags, flowers and leaves, exploring the beautiful scents from some aromatic Thai herbs and plants, trying traditional Thai sweet sticky rice with sweet mango and offering good wishes for the new year by blessing our teachers and friends with a white clay paste and rose scented water. We have also been singing Thai songs and reading books from Thailand.
