Designs revealed for Waitematā Station (Britomart) plaza and Tyler Street upgrade
With City Rail Link Limited, we are delighted to announce that we will be reinstating the plaza behind the Waitematā Station (Britomart), with work starting next year.
The plaza will function as an entrance and exit to the station, while also providing a relaxed place for people to meet, with easy access in and out of the central city area.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
