Thieves are stealing petrol by making a nail-sized hole near a car's fuel tank and taking petrol out of the vehicle.

If the vehicle owner hasn't noticed the puncture and there's remaining fuel in the tank, the owner could unknowingly leave a trail behind them that could be ignited by something like a misplaced cigarette.

Be wary of the smell of petrol fumes, liquid spotted on the ground at back of car, and petrol light coming on unexpectedly.

If you have any information about this incident, please call Auckland Central Police Station on 09 302 6400 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Hi neighbours,

A friendly reminder for anyone who would like to help Wilson, we are collecting 3XL-4XL new clothing for him. His nurse, Zoe, informed me he was in particular need of extra clothing and this was one way our community could lend a helping hand.

Please drop these off at the Onehunga Business Association, 149 Onehunga Mall this week and we will have them delivered to Wilson.
As a reshare, below is the photo of Zoe accepting our community card on Wilson's behalf (he was still sleeping we I visited)
