I emailed Ministry of Primary Industry and sent video from my phone. they identified the larva and left it there. phoned Citizens Advice Bureau who said to speak to Pak and Save. I am not wanting a refund. I am concerned they are bringing this rice and it is full of larva. I soak my rice and wash it several times, hence could catch them, others may not be so careful. I know they are not poisonous but who wants to eat them. can anyone tell me what to do about this.
