Harbour Bridge Shared Path and SeaPath
Big news for our area today as the Government has announced an investment of $360 million for the Auckland Harbour Bridge Shared Path and SeaPath, with construction set to begin in 2021.
While these aren't Auckland Council projects, the Kaipatiki Local Board has been working closely with NZTA on areas where the proposed route touches our local parks and pathways, such as exploring options for SkyPath landing at Te Onewa/Stokes Pt Reserve, options for integrating SeaPath into Sulphur Beach Reserve, and connecting SeaPath into Tuff Crater Reserve/Heath Reserve, to form a recreational loop.
