The tracks have been upgraded to a standard to help prevent kauri dieback, including new bridges, boardwalks and box steps. There is also a great new lookout between Fitzpatrick Place and Mappin Place.
Last week local board member Erica Hannam, long-time volunteer David Roberts and I were given a walkthrough by the contractors and it's looking fantastic. Definitely one to check out once it opens.

This playground is the closest for anyone living in the Greenvalley Rise/Woodcote Dr/Domain Rd part of Glenfield.
Have your say here before 16 October: tinyurl.com...
Once we've heard from you, a couple of concepts will be designed and go out for consultation again. The new playground is expected to be built in 2024/25.
